Unclean drinking water is the primary cause of illness and death among children under the age of 5. A child under 5 dies every 15 seconds worldwide from unclean water or lack of access to drinking water. That's 6 children during the time it takes you to read this webpage. I am stunned by this number. We need to change. This it is not acceptable.
12 million people die per year from the lack of clean water, 6 times more than die from the HIV / Aids virus. Lack of clean water is an easily cured situation in most cases.
It is not uncommon for a girl to walk 6 hours a day carrying up to 5 gallons water, that’s 40 pounds, to provide for her family. Women and children around the world spend their whole day gathering water just to meet the needs of their families.

Let me share with you the story of Lucy Akanbee who lives in Ghana. She had to get up at 3 AM every day to walk miles in the dark to collect water from the river. Often she would not arrive home before 10 AM, which meant she was late for work at the local school where she is a teacher. Lucy was the only female teacher in her school.
Sometimes her children had water to drink for breakfast and sometimes, they did not. They often went to school late and without food because of her absence. Fetching water took up most of her day. As she collected water, she would see that the Lack of water often resulted in quarrels, beating or even divorce.
In the long dry season from November to March, quarrels would break out in the fight for the little water left, and during the rainy season diarrhea, dysentery, parasites and cholera were rife. Many children were often ill and severely malnourished, and die of these diseases.
Because girls were expected to help, very few enrolled in schools. In many deprived communities, only 1 woman is educated for every 30 men.
These stories are too common and the most heart-breaking ones even more common. MSI World Team is generating the resources to make a difference through Charity Water, a non-profit organization headed up by Scott Harrison.
Many of our members have pledged $10 or more to our Charity Water Campaign for every KangenTM Water Machine that they or someone on their team places in someone’s home. Additionally, we have raised thousands of dollars from sources outside or our team. Anyone can contribute to this powerful cause. There are two ways that you can help.
1.
Contact us or your distributor about getting a KangenTM water
machine for yourself and mention your interest in the Charity Water campaign. We will make sure that a charitable donation is made as a result of your purchase.
2. Purchase WORLD, WATER & HEALTH, our DVD about the impacts of bottled water on the environment, global communities and your health and educate the people in your life about the Thirsty of our world. Encourage them to be a part of this movement to end the world water crisis during our lifetime.
3. Make a direct contribution to the MSI World Team Charity Water campaign. Everything counts and every amount makes a huge difference.
